From Passionate Beginnings to Premier Idaho Outfitters
Owned and operated by Brandon and Angela Jensen, Bitterroot Outfitters has deep roots in the guiding and outfitting industry. Residing in Challis, Idaho, with their five children, the Jensens bring years of experience and a love for the outdoors to every expedition. Brandon began his guiding career in 2008 under Travis Bullock at Mile High Outfitters, focusing on lion hunting and later expanding his expertise by managing lion hunts for Flying Resort Ranches. In 2022, Brandon and Angela made the decision to purchase Bitterroot Outfitters, officially taking ownership in 2023, marking a new chapter for this esteemed outfitting service.
Originally established with a strong presence in Idaho, Bitterroot Outfitters expanded its operations in 2007, acquiring four additional outfitting businesses and extending its reach along the Salmon River Breaks. We proudly operate in hunting units 17, 20, and 20A, with permits to access some of the most iconic wilderness areas, including the Bitterroot National Forest, the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, and the Nez Perce Forest. To provide our clients with the best hunting opportunities, we also offer guaranteed non-resident elk and deer tags.
